ZUHRAH Antique Cars

Awarded the 2005 Lagerquist Trophy for “Most Active Zuhrah Unit”

Zuhrah Antique Cars unit was chartered in 1983. Although a relatively young unit, membership numbers close to 85. Members are active Masons and Shriners, promoting the spirit of unity, friendship and good fellowship among its members, and assisting the Shrine of North America and Zuhrah Temple in its many activities and endeavors.

A common goal is the preservation and restoration of vehicles over 25 years old, and special interest vehicles by our Active members. They also have many Associate members without cars who participate in their many social activities.

During summer months, the Antique Cars participate in many community parades and car displays throughout Minnesota and the Midwest.

One of their most popular activities is their monthly "Hamburger Run" whereby members and their ladies drive their antique cars (or any car) to a pre-selected restaurant for an enjoyable evening of food and good conversation. Hamburger runs are usually 6 PM the fourth Wednesday of each month at restaurants announced in the club calendar.

For their annual "Mystery Trip" each fall, Nobles and their Ladies gather with their antique vehicles (or any vehicle) and follow their Mystery Trip Leader to several undisclosed locations where they enjoy a special event (tour, meal, boat ride), or whatever the leader has planned for a fun filled event.  Some trips include overnight stays.

They meet every second Wednesday night 7 PM at the Zuhrah Shrine Center to conduct business and share in an informative program. Guests are cordially invited to join in these meetings.
