Western Minnesota Shrine Club

Shriners from Montevideo, Maynard, Dawson, Granite Falls and other areas of western Minnesota are found in the membership of the Western Minnesota Shrine Club. Our club is well known for promoting all branches of the Masonic Family.

Being a very active club, we have a parade unit which we exhibit at several area summer celebrations. In September we assist with the Annual Shrine Circus in Willmar where we sell novelties, take tickets, and help in other ways. We also enjoy treating over 400 area third-grade students to "A Day At The Circus!"

The last Sunday in October will find us at the Montevideo VFW Club where we prepare our UTTERLY FANTASTIC Annual Pancake Breakfast! This event provides proceeds which allow us to donate several thousand dollars to the Shrine Hospital.

Our two major social events with our ladies include our annual "Say Good-Bye to the Snowbirds" picnic in September, and our gala Christmas party!

We meet on the first Wednesday of every month in either Maynard or Montevideo. A social hour precedes each meeting, with a dinner following.
