With membership from the southern metro-suburban area, the Minnesota Valley Shrine Club (MVSC) is a club for the whole family. Our many events involve our wives/sweethearts as well. Stated meetings are held at either the Prior Lake VFW or the Savage American Legion. Meetings are always preceded by a social hour and dinner, with our "significant others". After dinner our ladies have the option of staying for the meeting. Our fund-raisers consist of a Pancake Breakfast in the Spring at the Savage American Legion, and "The World Famous MVSC Salmon BBQ" at the Prior Lake VFW in the Fall. These events provide for donations to the work of the Shrine Hospital or Zuhrah’s Building Fund, give us the chance to put the MVSC and Shrinedom in the public eye, and provide us with opportunities for fraternal fellowship through work. The MVSC also has the awesome task of selling cotton candy to the enthusiastic and hungry crowds of Zuhrah’s Shrine Circus - truly a labor of love!

It’s not all work though - we have a Summer golf outing and a huge family picnic. In December we have our gala Christmas party, bringing gifts for the Shrine Hospital children - the giving feels GOOD!
